“Strong” – is a three-year lasting art series by Igor Mihailenko. The idea is to show the power of muscle body of fighting dogs.
These abstract bodies show not the real figures but powerful spirits of a battle. This series reflects the street culture of bull-baiting, that now is strictly prohibited mostly in all countries. On this artworks – canvas is a kind of a ring, were the main fighting action is set. Grin, is a reflection of an uncovered aggression with no compromises and no victim outcome.  Even spectators have to be strong to suffer all the voltage of the presented violent scenes of life-fights.

Родился 28 марта 1969 г в г. Краснодаре.

В 1988 г. закончил Краснодарское художественное училище.

С 1992 г. – член Молодежного отделения СХ.

Награжден дипломами за участие в Фестивале современного искусства (г. Ставрополь), Первый молодежный конкурс г. Краснодар (1 место).

С 1998 г. – член Союза художников Росси, член Международной ассоциации изобразительных искусств – АИАП ЮНЕСКО.

С 1998 г. – Председатель Молодежного отделения Союза художников России. С 2004 г. – член Правления СХ.

С 2006 г. –директор Краснодарского Краевого Выставочного Зала Изобразительных Искусств.

В 2006 г. - награжден дпломом Российской Академией художеств.

В 2009 г. награжден серебрянной медалью Российской Академией художеств.

В 2010 г. награжден золотой медалью Творчекого Союза Художников России.

Выставочную деятельность начал с 1990 г. В качестве председателя МО СХ организовал такие выставки как «Формат», «Игра в классики», имеющие широкий резонанс. Участник более 40 выставок в России и за рубежом. Работы приобретены Краснодарским художественным музеем изобразительных искусств им. Коваленко и Краснодарским краевым выставочным залом. Значительная часть работ находится в частных коллекциях в России, США, Израиле, Ливане и Германии.
